Course Commencement and Classes (On-Campus)
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 6 seats are allocated in order of receipt of payment, which is due no later than 2 weeks prior to course commencement. Upon ACFB receiving your enrolment form and payment, a confirmation letter with details of your course, your student folder and what you will need to bring will be forwarded to you.
Tuition Assurance
As a Government requirement of all RTO’s, ACFB’s FULL-FEE (upfront) paying students have their tuition safe guarded in the event that the college should dissolve. This allows the transfer of students, with minimal disruption to their course, to another RTO offering the same qualification.
Refunds and Withdrawals (On-Campus Students)
Withdrawals from a course must be addressed in writing to ACFB’s Principal. A full refund (less $50 administration fee) will be paid if received 30 days prior to course commencement. A full refund (less $100 administration fee) will be paid if received 7 days prior to course commencement. A full refund (less $150 administration fee) will be paid if received less than 7 days prior to course commencement. There will be NO refunds or transfers within 3 days prior to course commencement or after courses have commenced. Course fees are transferable 30 days prior to course commencement; however a $50 administration fee applies. In the unlikely event that a class is postponed or cancelled, you will be given the option of transferring or a full 100% refund. Enrolment fees cannot be transferred to another person.
Refunds and Withdrawals (Distance Learning/Blended Delivery Students)
Withdrawals from a course must be addressed in writing to ACFB’s Principal. Once a student has commenced their course and has received their course material, or the course material up to the time they wish to withdrawal, no refund will be issued for fees paid up to that time. Where a student has their course fees upfront, a refund will only be given for the course material they have NOT yet received. If the student has already received the entire course material, NO refund will be given. Exceptional circumstances will be considered at the discretion of the Principal and Course Coordinator. Students may wish to suspend their course and commence it at a later date. For students who wish to choose this option, they need to address it in writing to ACFB’s Course Coordinator. Enrolment fees cannot be transferred to another person.
On-Campus Clinic Hours (Non-Scholarship)
Full Fee paying students (Non-Scholarship Students) who are studying Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice HLT40307 and/or the Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307, On-Campus will need to complete an allocated number of clinic hours or, if the student wishes to conduct additional clinics in order to gain experience at ACFB’s Mitcham Campus, will forfeit any money that comes from these clinics to ACFB entirely.
