ACFB specifically caters for Adult Learners and provides Flexible and Self Paced Training.

 

I want to become a group exercise trainer; what do I need to do?

If you want to become a group fitness trainer, you will only need to complete the Certificate III in Fitness.

I want to become a personal trainer; what do I need to do?

In order to become a qualified personal trainer, you will need to complete both the Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate IV in Fitness.

I want to start my own massage business; what do I need to do?

If you want to start your own massage business, the minimum qualification you will need to work in this industry is the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. If you want to offer remedial massage so your clients can claim through their health funds, than you will need to complete your Diploma of Remedial Massage course

I have not studied for many years; will I be able to cope?

Most of our students are mature age, many of whom have not studied for many years. ACFB’s courses are specifically tailored towards adult learners, helping them to get the most out of this studying opportunity. ACFB’s trainers are always available to answer any questions that students may have prior and throughout the course duration.

How much homework is involved?

All of ACFB’s courses require homework to be completed throughout each week. Students need to set aside a few hours a week to complete their studies in order to get the most out of their course.

Are there payment plans available?

ACFB provides a variety of instalment plans for all of our courses. Students can choose from a set plan or a personalised payment plan organised prior to the commencement of the course to suit individual needs. None of which incur any fees or charges!

Are the courses recognised throughout Australia?

All of ACFB’s Fitness and Massage courses are Nationally Recognised throughout Australia.

What Qualifications will I receive?

On completion of ACFB’s courses, students will receive Nationally Recognised and Government Qualification including a Certificate/Diploma and transcript of marks.

Do I have to give up my job to attend the course?

No! ACFB courses are designed to fit into the busy life style of each student and we offer a variety of different study options.

Can I complete these courses via Distance Learning?

All of ACFB's Fitness and Massage courses can be completed either on campus or via distance learning anywhere in Australia.

What is the difference between distance learning, correspondence, on-line study and blended delivery?

Studying via distance learning, correspondence and on-line are the same.  Blended delivery is for students who live within the Melbourne area and can't make it to our classes.
